Sourcing opens the door. Product development is where the value is created.
Amazonian Ingredients for Product Innovation
Guaraná is KAIA’s first commercial focus, but it is only the beginning. Through relationships at origin and the development contribution of KAIA’s co-owners, KAIA is exploring selected freeze-dried fruits, botanicals and plant-based powders for food, beverage, nutrition and sensory innovation.
These ingredients offer different combinations of flavour, colour, texture, naturally occurring compounds and cultural identity. Each opportunity is evaluated individually according to its application, availability, specification and supporting documentation.

Preservation Is Part of the Product
Freeze-drying can transform highly perishable plant material into lightweight dry powders that are easier to store, transport and evaluate in new formulations. The value lies not only in the final powder, but also in how the ingredient is grown, harvested, preserved, identified and documented.
QUALITY BEFORE SCALE
KAIA begins with carefully selected volumes so that origin, processing, quality and documentation can be understood clearly.
Growth will follow where consistency, responsible sourcing and the integrity of each ingredient can be maintained.
From Ingredient to Application
KAIA is building connections between ingredients at origin and product-development opportunities in international markets. We welcome conversations with product developers, manufacturers and innovation teams interested in evaluating selected ingredients, application concepts and collaborative development pathways.
WHAT IF MORE OF THE NEXT GENERATION OF AMAZONIAN PRODUCTS BEGAN IN THE AMAZON?
Our long-term vision is to bring together origin, knowledge, science, technology and product development – creating new possibilities for ingredients while exploring how more processing, innovation and value creation can remain closer to where they originate.
The Amazon is where extraordinary ingredients begin – and where extraordinary ideas can begin too.
The Ingredient Is the Beginning
What could this become?
KAIA was not created simply to move ingredients from one country to another.
We want to discover what those ingredients can become.
A natural source of caffeine can become a beverage.
Cacao and guaraná can become functional chocolate.
A seasonal fruit can become a stable ingredient through the right processing technology.
A botanical oil can move from the forest into premium culinary, wellness or personal care applications.
This is where origin meets product development.
Our Product Principle
HEALTHY. FUNCTIONAL.
DELICIOUS.
Too often, consumers are asked to choose.
Products that are functional aren’t always enjoyable. Products that taste great aren’t always nutritionally interesting. And products positioned as healthy don’t always deliver a meaningful function.
KAIA wants to explore the space where these qualities meet.
